The 2nd edition of Monoi Here was certainly rich in novelties !
This year a space dedicated to discovery allowed visitors to get acquainted with the joys of formulating, inaugurating "the Monoi road", becoming aware of biodiversity and even winning a trip.

Numerous vegetal species make up the composition of Monoi. For many people, Monoi Here was the opportunity to discover the wealth and originality of French Polynesian botanical resources. |

Another novelty this year was the original itinerary of the "Monoi Route", with 11 planned stops on the map : Tiaré Tahiti fields, refinery, soap factory, cosmetics laboratory. A 40km-discovery route between Motu uta and Papara which already looks like it's going to become a perennial tourist activity, if not a cult one. |

For the first time, based on the original idea from Le Laboratoire du Formulateur (The Formulation Laboratory), the public was invited to get to grips with the formula of a cosmetic product. The chosen few were lucky enough to leave with a product formulated by their own hands. |
| The Monoi Here Big Draw |

 |
|
1,746 people participated in the Big Draw organized by the monoi week. The first prize, a return ticket to Los Angeles awarded by Air Tahiti Nui, was won by Etienne Teotahi de Punaauia, caretaker of the Cultural Centre.
