The Monoi Institute was founded by the main producers of Monoi in French Polynesia.
Drawing on its members’ expertise, the Institute has conducted and instigated a series of research works aimed at :

• Gathering analytical knowledge about the flower
• Studying Monoi’s active and sensorial properties
• Creating a formulation guide
• Publishing technical information
• Establishing new standards
