Monoï Here - in English, we would say: Monoï Darling, Monoï I love you... A way to express all the affection people from French Polynesia have for the product. Organized at the initiative of the Monoï Institute, the Monoï Festival aims at revealing all the cultural dimensions of the product, connecting a 2,000 year old tradition with modernity, creating a unique opportunity for Monoï afficionados as well as first timers to meet and exchange around a cult product. The Monoï Festival will feature workshops, exhibitions and animations for people to discover ancients tools and objects, photographies, films and audio documents, traditional legends, the different ways to prepare Monoï in the different archipelagos of French Polynesia, the manufacturing of Monoï de Tahiti AO, massages by Tahuas as well as among the finest Tahitian Spas... Date : 13-18 August At the Maison de la Culture, Papeete, Tahiti




April 2007 Monoi de Tahiti celebrates the 15th anniversary of the Appellation d'Origine

The Appellation d'Origine is a guarantee of origin delivered by the French Authorities - it certifies products made with unique ingredients of a specific origin and precisely defined manufacturing process. It is the guarantee of origin that, for instance, certifies the quality of wines originating from specific regions of France.




In 1992, Monoi de Tahiti was the first cosmetic product to obtain the AO. It is now the world ambassador of the Tahitian spirit in cosmetics - and the cult product of creative brands developping regenerative rituals for the body and soul.
